The X-Touch-mini is well prepared to simuate Motor-Faders with its endless encoders and LED circles.Īfter many wrong attempts here a successful solution for feeding back the track volume and track mute states back to X-Touch-mini, so that changes made in reaper GUI are reflected at the controller LEDs, just like one would expect from motor faders.Ĭheap "motor faders"-like performance for Reaper with X-Touch-mini. Move 16 Channel Faders in Reaper via the 8 Encoders in X-Touch-mini Layer A, plus 8 Encoders in Layer B I have the latest versions of the the respective software. All software is speaking with each other, as well. Set Mute-State in 16 Channels via Controller or Reaper-GUI, state sync in both directions Move 16 Channel Faders in Reaper via mouse and feed the values back into the Encoders in X-Touch-mini, represented by LED circles However, I can't get it the X Touch Mini to adequately control everything. Test if the movement of Track faders in Reaper feed back their values to the LED circles of the X-Touch-mini Encoders I just installed a Behringer Xtouch Mini controller to use as an ATEM hardware control panel with Ian Morrishs exe. (Love it Ian Thanks for doing this.) But I want to assign a button to fade up DSK 1. If that holds true, you could use an Arduino micro-controller (with Ethernet shield) to translate the foot pedal switch signal into commands for the switcher over Ethernet. Test the Mute buttons on the controller and in Reaper, are they synced? I can edit the XTouchMini.json file to modify buttons, but dont know the correct script for Downstream Keyer parameters. I would guess the mini uses the same software & communication protocols as the full featured ATEM switchers. Although I decided to put it open source, but I can still accept paypal or alipay donation and maybe submit a app store paid version for ppl want to donate to me(just like keka).Test the Transport buttons to interact with reaper. If plenty of ppl hope my app come with midi, I will try to add.Īnd, you really raise me up for selling it. However, it's free to discuss about midi. ![]() Although I planned to add a trackpad control to simulate the slider, but I can always setup the atemOSC with midi hardware(with slider) as a backup. This is a Windows application to control a Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher. The only reason(for me) to use midi is the slider. Configuration is not a easy job and I've experienced un-stable with atemOSC. I'm not prefer to add those functions into my app coz it isn't a well-integrated solution. About midi, there was already another solution named atemOSC(and work with OSCulator, check:). Thank you and I planned to add more input in the future. If you improved the UI a little you could look at selling it for a couple of bucks on the app store. If you really wanted to make it even more useful it would be good to offer the ability to listen for midi messages as well as there are plenty of controllers that would make nice physical controllers and are REALLY cheap.
